On Friday, October 12th, sixth grade took a field trip to the Promised Land Camp. There, they enjoyed cooking over a campfire, hiking, canoing, archery, and a hayride.
Everyone would agree that anytime sixth grade gets together, crazy things happen. This day was no exception! The highlights of the day would have to be sliding down the slippery mud slope to the stream, trying to stay on the wagon during the crazy hayride, and watching Greg and Kyle walk out of the pond after capsizing their canoe!
Special thanks to the parents who donated food for our trip. Thanks a million to the parents who came along as chaperones. Mr. Goodrich deserves a medal of honor for going in the pond after the boys and their sinking canoe!
