Classroom Needs:

Parent Judges: Our Speech meet try-out will be on February 15th from 1-3 in our classroom. We
are in need of some parent judges to come in and help judge the
students' speeches in order to determine who will go to the speech meet
in Allentown on March 4th. Judges will be provided with a rubric to help score each speech. These scores do NOT effect students' grades, however they receive a grade for their participation. The more parent judges we have, the better! Students' speeches must be memorized by this time. If you have any questions, please contact me.

Store Items: Our classroom store could use a little re-stocking. If you come across any items that you think the kids would enjoy, feel free to send them in. Thank you!

From the Teacher's Desk:

Dear Parents,

Sorry for the change in the test schedule. Because of the snow delay on Friday, and Evi's good bye party, we did not have our Bible test or Spelling test on Friday. They were all bumped up to Monday. Spelling packets were put in boxes on Friday for next week in order to give students a head start on those for next week. As usual, packets are due on Thursday, and the test will be on Friday.

Thank you for sending in the items for Evi's party. She sent a thank you email to the class expressing her surprise and joy over the party.

Also, special thanks to the Selby family for the microwave. If students would like to warm up their lunches, we now have a microwave in our room!
